The Haley2024 Health Care System
The government currently has considerable control over America’s health care system. That control is the foundation of the vast majority of problems in healthcare. The free enterprise system is resilient and trying to overcome the obstacles that representative control creates. The government administers health care such as the VA. The government funds health care in an insurance model such as Medicare and Medicaid.
|
The government regulates health insurance. The government regulates medications. The government regulates medical devices. The government regulates hospitals and doctor offices. The government regulates who can practice medicine. Through administration, provision, and regulations, the representatives at the state, local, and federal levels have given government bureaucrats significant power.
|
Through this government power, many business models are banned by law. This government power creates many monopolies. This government power hampers efficient solutions. This government power lowers the number of medical providers. This government power increases the medical cost unnecessarily. This government power entraps many people in poverty. This government power moves the decision of health insurance from the individual to the individual’s employer.

Each of these ills of inhibitions, obstructions, hampering, lowering, increasing, banning, entrapping, and decreasing individual control is continuously increased by the government trying to fix what they broke. Politicians and bureaucrats misdiagnose the root of the problem and prescribe more poison. Politicians complain about the preexisting condition problem and literally ban guarantee renewal policies. |
The Haley2024 Plan
The Haley2024 reform is to create the CRA Structure. The Healthcare system has two sectors that split medication from health care providers. Insurance is a separate Sector. The Charity System would be heavily involved in health care, and that has three Sectors. The Family Law and Religion Sectors are both vital in healthcare. The Financial, Identity, and Human Resources Sectors will all have a role in health care.
Each of these Sectors has roughly a dozen Competitive Regulatory Agencies (CRA’s). Each of these CRA’s will compete for every citizen's and every business’s business of regulations. The competition will drive out bad regulations and promote appropriate regulations. Certain Rating System Floors would exist within many Sectors to address negative externalities. |
Charitable Distribution Associations would have funding from all the people to assist in serious unmet health care needs. The Charity Structure creates a natural impulse to greater efficiency with charity dollars. The Charity Structure creates checks and balances within the system. The Charity Economy will supplement healthcare in profound and dynamic ways. The Charity Structure stops the entrapment in poverty and accelerates the progress to interdependence.
If there is a market for socialized healthcare, CRA Organizations will group CRA’s from the appropriate Sectors and provide that service for those that choose that service. The provision or funding of socialist healthcare comes from those within the system, and not utilize tax revenue or other government money coming from people outside those choosing that socialist system. |
These transitions will have to be coordinated by CRA’s competing for every citizen’s and every business’s business of regulations. The result of multiple systems and the ability of every person to change the system would result in far more effective systems pushing out the less effective systems. Medical advancements would accelerate. The poor would have better options. Every citizen’s chosen CRA memberships in all these Sectors will dramatically determine their interaction with the health care system. The free market works best when hundreds of business models are unhampered.
