A School Choice Idea
Every parent SELECTS from a dozen school boards
• Every state will create a dozen school boards.
• Natural divisions in educational philosophy will occur among school boards. • There would be a local component in every locality. • Parents select their school board. • Parents elect their school board leadership within its membership. • Every school board receives its percentage of the education budget, classrooms, and other assets based on its share of students. • Every school board sets its own teacher standards and hires staff. • Every school board sets its own policy on sex ed, CRT, discipline, masks, and vaccine mandates, among other controversial topics. |
• Every school board sets its educational goals and policies.
• Each school board would set their own standards for the length of a school year and length of a school day; all policies are up for change. • At least one school board will remain secular, and others will have the freedom to have a religious environment as students learn academics. • School boards may charge their members extra or economize and deposit money in their student’s education accounts for the future. • The entire college system can follow a similar structure. • Each K-12 and college school board would create its own degrees and licensing boards. • A competitive Rating System would address low academic achievement, abuse, and corruption. |
