* All roads will be private and free enterprise.
* Mandated to be public spaces
* Significant cooperation Required
* Corporations: Stocks open to the public
• Every road or small collection of roads must be owned as a publicly owned corporation. Every CEO and B.O.D. will operate their roads.
• Every BOD decides its toll rates. • All tolls will be by a unified transponder system that is constitutionally anonymous. • It is considered theft of road services to drive without a funded transponder. • Transponders must be reloaded to get gas. • Most roads/sidewalks must be public places and not deny anyone usage, similar to the current policy. |
Transition• Every road or a small collection of roads will be put into a new publicly traded corporation as an asset.
• The government will own all the stocks. • The government will sell off 1% of the stocks monthly to citizens; funds will pay down road debt and the national debt. • Cooperation among road businesses on intersections and other issues is required. • All roads must use standardized traffic laws, signage and the like. |
